Hot springs village has a great golf course selection, but just as important it is a gated community who's resident population is similar to the op's. Every last thing about the facilities, course and more is a disaster! Looking to play 4 rounds. One of the things a retiree really needs is community of similar people so that he has the chance to find a regular game as well as social interaction. Roads, cart paths, greens, bunkers, fairways, rough, tee boxes are all just broken, destroyed or worse! It is at one of those “just blow it up” states! Played mountain course on thursday, great course, but is tough without gps, hard to know where all the hazards are.
